Description

You will support manufacturing efficiency and throughput improvements across the Microns production line, focusing on analyzing production flow, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing data-driven improvements to increase output and reduce downtime.

Requirements

• Enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field
• Coursework or project experience in manufacturing processes, operations, or production systems
• Experience collecting and analyzing data using Excel or similar tools
• Familiarity with basic process improvement or lean manufacturing concepts
• Effective communication with technicians and cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Map and document Skins manufacturing process including solar and RF skin builds
• Identify bottlenecks, constraints, and process starvation points limiting throughput
• Collect and analyze production data: cycle times, takt time, WIP, downtime, yield
• Develop and implement process improvements to reduce waste and increase efficiency
• Support line balancing, workstation optimization, and standard work development
