Description

You will lead a small field crew troubleshooting and repairing utility-scale solar systems on megawatt-scale projects. Your work ensures safe, correct, and on-schedule completion of maintenance and repairs at solar farm sites.

Requirements

• 3+ years utility-scale solar experience (solar farms/ground-mount systems)
• Experience leading crews of 4+ or acting as lead tech on-site
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skills (inverters, DC systems, power electronics)
• Working knowledge of OSHA/NFPA 70E safety standards
• Experience using multimeters, meggers, amp clamps, and testing equipment

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair utility-scale solar systems including inverters, combiner boxes, string circuits
• Perform testing: LOTO, IV curve tracing, megger/insulation testing, IR scans
• Lead and direct 4+ field technicians on active solar farm sites
• Assign work, track progress, and keep jobs on schedule
• Enforce safety requirements (OSHA, NFPA 70E) on-site
