Description

You will lead end-to-end technical design and delivery of Azure solutions, focusing on data governance and master data management with Profisee, Purview, or Databricks Unity Catalog. You'll guide engineering teams, mentor architects, and ensure solutions meet goals for security, scalability, and cost while collaborating with clients and internal teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data governance, data management, in a cloud environment
• Proven experience leading hybrid and remote teams and maintaining alignment across time zones
• Expertise in at least one major public cloud platform, with Azure strongly preferred
• Deep understanding of core concepts, languages, frameworks, and design patterns in primary domain
• Experience using AI-augmented development and integrating AI/ML capabilities via APIs, libraries, or cloud AI services
• 2+ years with Azure technologies
• Proven experience delivering governance programs
• Strong understanding of data platform and analytics ecosystems
• Experience with 2 or more Data Management areas: Data Warehousing and BI, Data Science and ML, MDM, Data Governance, Data Quality Management
• Experience in Agile or Scrum environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, clear written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture and scope for projects, leading teams to design and deliver Azure solutions meeting agreed goals for value, security, scalability, reliability, performance, and cost.
• Serve as technical lead and subject matter expert, guiding consultants and engineers to keep implementation aligned with architecture and standards.
• Lead discovery and requirements sessions, clarify scope, dependencies, and risks, and shape a prioritized backlog with clear acceptance criteria.
• Explain complex technical topics in simple language for technical and non-technical audiences, connecting decisions to client goals.
• Enable teams to deliver with stable velocity and low defect rates through clear architecture, interfaces, and automation.
• Mentor others through pairing, design reviews, and feedback, focusing on senior engineers and technical leads.
• Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities and partnering with sales on pursuits, defining cloud vision and architecture.
• Create and maintain reusable assets such as runbooks, workshops, and templates.
