Description

You will lead Rocket Lab's personnel security program to ensure compliance with NISP and government regulations while supporting national security missions. Your role involves overseeing clearance processing, interfacing with government agencies, and partnering with internal teams to enable fast, compliant classified work.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in security management or related field
• 7+ years industrial security experience with focus on Personnel Security
• Deep knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117, DISS, NBIS, TALON
• U.S. Citizen with active Top Secret SCI clearance and polygraph eligibility
• Domestic travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide Personnel Security program compliance with NISPOM and DoD/IC requirements
• Oversee end-to-end clearance processing including investigations, reinvestigations, Continuous Vetting, SCI nominations, and polygraph coordination
• Serve as primary interface with DCSA, DoD, and IC for clearance matters
• Manage DISS, NBIS, and other government systems for accurate submissions
• Lead adverse information reporting and incident management with Insider Threat, Legal, and HR
