Description
You will be responsible for engineering activity related to aircraft APU, engine, and engine systems on Airbus and Embraer aircraft. Manage maintenance and reliability programs, monitor engine performance data, and develop technical data for modifications and repairs to ensure airworthiness and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- 4-year degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or FAA A&P License with 5+ years experience
- 5+ years engineering experience with engines, APU, and related components
- Fluent in engine data monitoring, analysis, and reporting
- 5+ years experience in technical report writing and regulatory compliance
- 5+ years experience in Part 121/135 airline technical services or MRO
Responsibilities
- Manage engine and APU maintenance and reliability programs
- Create and manage Engine Health Monitoring (EHM) system
- Monitor engine in-flight performance data and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate troubleshooting of chronic APU and engine discrepancies
- Manage engine Flight Hour Agreements and shop visits
