💼 About This Role

You'll define and implement quality processes for autonomous drone systems at Skydio, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product quality from NPI through sustaining. Your work will directly impact speed to market and profitability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Collaborate cross-functionally to define manufacturing and product quality requirements
• Drive Material Review Board meetings to classify and triage issues
• Ensure defect containment and participate in failure analysis
• Implement quality inspection points and monitor yield metrics

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of quality engineering experience in electromechanical systems
• Experience with NPI through MP product lifecycle
• Proficient in SQL to query databases for failure analysis
• Experience with Six Sigma methodologies and JMP

✨ Nice to Have

• AS9100/ISO9001 experience
• CMM or metrology instrument experience
• Faro arm operation
