Description

You will own materials and processes for reusable liquid propulsion turbomachinery, qualifying materials and products for flight and reuse. You'll develop technical specs, drive experimental design, and collaborate across engineering teams to close technology gaps and improve manufacturing.

Requirements

• Experience with materials and processes for turbomachinery in aerospace or similar
• Strong understanding of materials characterization and non-destructive evaluation
• Ability to drive experimental design and process improvement
• Collaboration skills across engineering disciplines
• Experience with cost and rate optimization while maintaining performance

Responsibilities

• Own materials and processes for reusable liquid propulsion turbomachinery products
• Qualify turbomachinery materials and products for flight and reuse
• Develop and maintain technical specifications and engineering standards
• Drive statistically-driven experimental design and process improvement
• Interface with materials, lab, design, and manufacturing engineering teams
