Description

In this role, you will lead the implementation of new math curricula, provide instructional coaching and mentorship to colleagues, and evaluate modern pedagogical strategies to enhance student achievement at a private school.

Requirements

• Experience in mathematics education leadership or instructional coaching
• Expertise in curriculum development and pedagogical evaluation
• Ability to mentor teachers and facilitate professional development
• Strong knowledge of math content including Algebra, Geometry, and Data Literacy

Responsibilities

• Lead rollout of new math curricula across the department, ensuring alignment with standards
• Systematically integrate data literacy, computational logic, and PSAT/SAT prep into core courses
• Audit and refine pacing guides, assessments, and supplemental materials
• Conduct non-evaluative walkthroughs and provide real-time feedback to colleagues
• Model best-practice lessons focusing on inquiry-based learning and mathematical discourse
