Description

You will support trading desks by building fundamental supply and demand models, developing analytics tools, and producing ad-hoc analyses to drive trade ideas. You'll also evaluate market data quality and maintain fundamental data operations.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Engineering/Econometrics/Applied Economics or related field
• Experience in researching, analyzing and modeling data (internship or related position)
• Proficiency in Python; Excel is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams and regions
• Passion for investing and trends in commodities markets

Responsibilities

• Build fundamental commodity supply and demand models
• Develop and expand analytics tools and processes for the desk
• Produce ad-hoc analysis based on short-term market developments
• Evaluate and improve market data quality
• Run and maintain processes related to fundamental data operations
