💼 About This Role

You'll empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to lead more independent lives through personalized support and skills training. As a Direct Support Professional, you'll work in either a Personal Attendant or Skills Instructor track, focusing on health and safety or functional skill development in home and community settings. Your impact will be felt as you uphold dignity and independence for every individual served.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Provide person-centered supervision in home and community settings.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living such as bathing and meal preparation.
• Teach independent living skills like cooking, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Complete daily logs and progress notes per agency standards.

📋 Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to follow written and verbal care plans.
• Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB clearance.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with de-escalation techniques.
• Knowledge of DDS and Regional Center standards.
• Bilingual skills.
