💼 About This Role

You'll own the AI Marketplace squad at Preply, bringing machine learning intelligence across the marketplace. Your work will power a world-class ranking system and shape how ML drives the user experience. You'll work at the intersection of personalized learning and complex marketplace dynamics with an exceptionally rich dataset.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define which ML capabilities get built and in what sequence
• Make the ranking system world-class using rich learner-tutor data
• Set vision and business outcomes, driving results with the team
• Ensure ML is applied where it creates most value across Preply

📋 Requirements

• Multi-quarter strategy experience in a technical domain
• ML-powered products at scale (personalization, recommendations, ranking)
• ML fluency to work with highly technical teams
• Data fluency and experimentation rigor (A/B testing)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in marketplace or EdTech
• Background in retrieval or ranking systems
• Leadership in shaping organizational ML capabilities
