Description

You will provide rehabilitative care to adult and geriatric patients in their homes, performing evaluations, developing individualized intervention plans, and educating patients and families. This role focuses on maximizing independence and improving quality of life through occupational therapy.

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts Occupational Therapist license
• Minimum of one year recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
• Perform evaluations of functional status including muscle function, endurance, ADL and IADL performance
• Develop individualized intervention plans to achieve favorable outcomes
• Evaluate home environment for hazards and recommend equipment or adaptations
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitative care for health and independent living
