💼 About This Role

You'll develop Waymo's data infrastructure platform to enable plant-scale ML Flywheel. You'll work with teams across Waymo to onboard and offboard ML models, including LLMs, onto a planet-scale data store. This role offers the opportunity to improve data efficiency and integration for autonomous driving systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and contribute to data infrastructure platform for ML Flywheel
• Work with teams to understand data needs and onboard ML models
• Improve data storage efficiency and data sharing across models
• Deploy data solutions for distillation, eval, dataset generation, and active learning

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience programming in C++
• Experience building highly scalable distributed systems

✨ Nice to Have

• Passionate about building ML infra and tools
• Experience handling large datasets in the order of exabytes
• Experience building machine learning infrastructure and model hosting/inference
