Description

You will own and develop software system-level requirements, drive risk management, and lead verification and validation activities to ensure reliable integrated software systems for Terran R vehicle operations. This role bridges vehicle software, ground systems, and hardware teams, supporting mission-critical launch and test activities.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Experience in software systems engineering, integration, or related role
• Strong understanding of requirements development, traceability, and verification
• Ability to work cross-functionally with vehicle software, ground systems, and hardware teams
• Experience with risk management and anomaly investigations

Responsibilities

• Own and develop software system-level requirements and ensure traceability to verification
• Identify, document, and manage software risks; drive mitigations balancing complexity and schedule
• Drive software system-level design verification and validation activities, including test plans and pass/fail criteria
• Define and build process around software configuration and change management and related tooling
• Support mission-critical software system certification and licensing deliverables including failure mode analyses
