Description

As a Forward Deployed Engineer on the Applied AI team, you will embed with strategic customers to drive AI adoption, building production applications with Claude models and delivering technical artifacts like MCP servers and agent skills. You'll collaborate with customer teams, support deployments, and shape our forward-deployed motion while championing safe, beneficial AI.

Requirements

• 3+ years in a technical customer-facing role (Forward Deployed Engineer, Software Engineer with consulting, or technical founder)
• Production experience with LLMs including prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation, and deployment
• Strong programming skills in Python and at least one other language (e.g., TypeScript, Java)
• High agency and ability to navigate ambiguity in complex organizations
• Strong communication skills for customer discovery and cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

• Build production applications with Claude models within customer systems
• Deliver technical artifacts like MCP servers, sub-agents, and agent skills for production workflows
• Provide white glove deployment support for Anthropic products in enterprise environments
• Identify and codify repeatable deployment patterns and contribute insights back to Product and Engineering
• Build long-term customer relationships and proactively identify new AI deployment opportunities
