You'll join the Ground Mobile team at DroneDeploy to build innovative 3D scanning tools that turn smartphones into professional-grade mapping devices. Your code will empower customers in construction and energy to capture reality with a single tap. This role offers a chance to work on hardware integration and 3D datasets beyond standard CRUD apps.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build resilient Swift client-side logic for offline-first 3D capture software.
• Implement features end-to-end from client through backend API and data persistence.
• Integrate with 360-degree cameras and high-accuracy GPS hardware.
• Use ARKit and AI to prototype new ways to see the world.

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years delivering iOS applications with significant production user base.
• Eagerness to learn backend stack (Python, Tornado, MongoDB).
• Proficiency with Xcode Instruments and telemetry tools (Sentry/Crashlytics).
• Experience explaining complex technical trade-offs to non-technical teammates.
