Description

You will provide acute care for patients with time-sensitive needs, including same-day and next-day appointments, without a dedicated patient panel. You'll work flexible hours including evenings and weekends in a clinic that operates 365 days a year, focusing on urgent care and acute management of chronic conditions.

Requirements

• At least 2 of last 5 years in outpatient primary or urgent care seeing ages 18+ or completed residency in last 5 years
• Current California medical license by start date
• Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and 3 major holidays per year
• Ability to work two full weekends per month
• Excellent clinical and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide acute care for medical concerns including chest pain, abdominal pain, infections, lacerations, and acute mental health triage
• Work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as clinics operate 7 days a week
• Address broad range of urgent care and time-sensitive follow-up needs
• Stay current on evidence-based urgent care practices and common primary care issues
• Complete thorough documentation for all patient encounters
