Description

You will help build and sell digital advertising solutions for AccuWeather, focusing on agency relationships and driving revenue through media, data, measurement, and analytics. You'll develop strategies for assigned holding companies and collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities. This role contributes to a high-caliber team in a rapidly growing business.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required
  • 5+ years digital ad sales experience with focus on digital media, programmatic, first party data, and analytics
  • Experience executing large scale brand partnerships across channels
  • Ability to achieve and exceed revenue targets through effective sales strategies
  • Strategic thinking about industry and product sets to achieve customer goals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills in small and large groups
  • Familiarity with agency holding companies and strong agency/brand relationships
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Tenacious and driven self-starter with hunter mentality for prospecting
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Solution-oriented with ability to overcome obstacles
  • Strong writing and copy-editing skills
  • Comfortable with fast-paced, always-on, start-up environment

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed revenue goals for existing and new accounts
  • Sell AccuWeather digital advertising products to agency and brand direct partners
  • Build relationships at high levels within assigned agencies and C-Suite
  • Serve as internal voice of the agency customer to shape product and marketing roadmaps
  • Prospect new business opportunities through outreach and meetings
  • Manage client accounts including contact lists, meetings, and quarterly reviews
  • Maintain pipeline and communicate updates to leadership and cross-functional partners
  • Contribute to senior-level events, conferences, and activations
  • Collaborate with internal specialists like marketing, strategy, data, and operations
  • Contribute to agency holding company partnership agreements
  • Act as a trusted thought leader through education initiatives and events
  • Operate as an industry ambassador and spokesperson for AccuWeather
