Description

You will design and implement the infrastructure, processes, and tools for Panthalassa's engineering release systems and digital thread. This role owns the efficiency and accuracy of the release process, leads model-based definition, integrates PLM with the broader digital thread, and manages vendor relationships. Your work directly enables mass production of ocean-based renewable energy technology.

Requirements

• 10+ years administering PLM systems in high-consequence industries (aerospace, defense, energy, automotive)
• Experience architecting configuration management for production environments with thousands of items
• Deep knowledge of configuration management standards (e.g., CMII)
• Strong technical foundation in engineering, computer science, or information systems
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Own efficiency and accuracy of engineering release process and associated infrastructure
• Design and lead Model-Based Definition (Digital Product Definition) implementation
• Ensure PLM data and infrastructure integrate with the broader digital thread
• Partner across teams to align configuration management with design, manufacturing, and business needs
• Manage vendor relationships and drive successful PLM implementations
