You'll join Apex to assemble, integrate, and test spacecraft satellite buses at scale, enabling missions from earth observation to communications. You'll own avionics PCBA assembly and rework for flight hardware, ensuring quality compliance with IPC and NASA standards. This role offers hands-on impact in the rapidly growing commercial space industry.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Perform advanced avionics PCBA assembly, rework, and testing for satellite projects.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex PCBA failures using oscilloscopes and test equipment.
  • Integrate avionics PCBAs into spacecraft systems ensuring thermal and EMC compliance.
  • Execute harness integration and rework per IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • U.S. Person status required for export-controlled data access.
  • Minimum 7+ years of aerospace avionics PCBA experience with satellite flight hardware.
  • Expert-level IPC J-STD-001 Space and IPC-A-610 Class 3 proficiency.
  • Advanced PCBA rework techniques including BGA/CSP and fine-pitch soldering.

โœจ Nice to Have

  • IPC Specialist or Master level certifications in J-STD-001 and A-610.
  • IPC-7711/7721 (Rework, Modification and Repair) certification.
  • Experience with NASA Class 1 or 2 flight hardware PCBAs.
