You'll build and maintain dbt models that transform raw voter data into trustworthy datasets for progressive political campaigns. Your work will power dashboards and tools that increase civic participation and help Democratic candidates win. This is a mission-driven remote-first role with a public benefit corporation.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and maintain dbt models transforming raw data into clean datasets.
• Partner with data scientists and engineers to translate questions into durable models.
• Improve data quality by writing tests and defining expectations for critical models.
• Document models, metrics, and lineage for self-service use.
• Use Python for orchestration, ad-hoc work, or dbt-transformations.

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years in analytics engineering or data engineering with central modeling focus.
• Strong SQL skills and production experience with dbt.
• Comfortable in Python for data work (pandas, scripting).
• Experience with a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with voter file data, VAN/EveryAction.
• Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster) or data ingestion (Fivetran).
• Commitment to progressive causes and civic participation.
