💼 About This Role

You'll be a deeply technical, customer-facing engineer helping developers troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and deployment issues. Your work will directly impact platform reliability and user experience at a globally distributed, remote-first company. This role combines autonomy with collaboration in an async environment focused on continuous improvement.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Resolve technical issues across infrastructure, deployments, databases, caching, and web performance
  • Manage support tickets via Zendesk with occasional live chat or voice support
  • Contribute to platform reliability by monitoring alert queues and participating in on-call rotation
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to escalate bugs and improve internal tooling

📋 Requirements

  • Linux systems experience in production environments
  • Coding or scripting with at least one backend language (Go, Python, PHP, Ruby, Node.js)
  • Cloud infrastructure familiarity with distributed systems or containerized environments
  • Networking basics including DNS, SSL, and CDN debugging

  • Experience with Zendesk or similar support platforms
  • Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques
  • Prior work in a globally distributed support team
