💼 About This Role

You'll join an interdisciplinary team to design, build, and test satellite hardware and software for Astranis's advanced satellites. Your work will directly support assembly, integration, and environmental test efforts for systems heading to orbit. This role offers hands-on experience with complex electrical systems in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, build, and test satellite hardware and software
• Develop assembly and integration test plans with engineering teams
• Use test equipment like thermal chambers, vibration tables, and oscilloscopes
• Coordinate assembly, integration, and environmental test efforts
• Troubleshoot complex electrical, software, and mechanical problems

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Graduated within the last 6 months or enrolled in a post-graduate program
• Passion for hardware development in a fast-paced environment
• Must be onsite 5 days a week in San Francisco

✨ Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience designing, building, and testing complex electrical systems
• Experience writing Python to interface with test equipment and process data
• Demonstrated ability to debug hardware and software under time pressure
