Description

You will design and build tools, libraries, and infrastructure to improve developer productivity for Stripe Terminal's mobile, backend, and embedded systems. You'll work closely with mobile engineers to understand their workflows, own projects end-to-end, and contribute to CI/CD and test automation systems.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of software engineering experience including Android/mobile or embedded/firmware
• Experience designing and maintaining production systems or developer tooling
• Experience owning projects end-to-end
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain developer tooling and infrastructure for Terminal engineers
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to understand workflows and translate into solutions
• Improve build, CI/CD, and test automation systems for SDKs, Android apps, and firmware
• Own projects from problem discovery through implementation and ongoing operation
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and mentor other engineers
