Description

You will provide home health speech therapy to adult and geriatric patients in Kennebunk and surrounding areas, performing evaluations, developing treatment plans, and educating patients and families as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Current Speech Language Pathologist license in Maine
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech from ASHA or equivalent
• Solid computer skills; prior EMR experience preferred
• Ability to perform home visits in designated geographic area

Responsibilities

• Perform home visits for speech therapy evaluations and interventions
• Develop and revise treatment plans based on evaluations and physician orders
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitative care
• Document patient care using electronic medical records on a touch pad tablet
• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning
