Description

You will support Pinterest's core product and engineering teams, advising on legal issues in generative AI, privacy, IP, and safety. You'll drive strategy on cutting-edge legal matters, implement scalable legal processes, and use AI tools to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• JD with 8+ years relevant legal experience; at least 2 years in-house at a tech company preferred
• Experience counseling on AI, IP/copyright, safety, and privacy
• Exceptional judgment and communication skills
• Process-driven and results-oriented with ability to resolve issues quickly
• Strategic thinking with a track record of creative solutions to novel issues

Responsibilities

• Partner with strategy, engineering, product, communications, and legal teams to manage legal issues during product development
• Advise on generative AI, content acquisition, IP/copyright, open source, and privacy issues
• Develop and implement practical measures to mitigate risk and advance long-term goals
• Implement scalable legal processes, automation, and AI-enabled solutions
