Description

You will lead a team of 10-15 engineers in the Edge Compute and Communication group, driving execution and software quality for mission-critical systems that enable global command and control for time-sensitive military operations. You'll partner with cross-functional leadership to balance rapid delivery with robust architecture.

Requirements

• 3+ years as a software engineering manager.
• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience in distributed systems, networked applications, or Embedded Linux.
• Deep understanding and coding skills in Go, Rust, C++ or other system programming languages.
• Track record of delivering complex projects under tight deadlines.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.

• Lead and mentor a team of 10–15 engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Collaborate with product and technical leadership to define team objectives and prioritize work.
• Drive timely delivery of complex software projects by removing impediments and promoting agile methodologies.
• Serve as primary liaison between team and senior leadership, communicating status and managing expectations.
• Oversee architecture, design, and implementation, ensuring quality and customer requirements are met.
