Description

You will develop and execute a sales strategy for new business acquisition in the Public Sector, focusing on Defence, Home Affairs, and Paramilitary Forces. You'll build relationships with government stakeholders, manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery.

Requirements

  • BE/Tech/BCA/BS (Computers) required
  • 10+ years of quota-carrying field experience in Public Sector new business
  • Proven track record of overachieving sales targets annually
  • Skilled in building business champions within Government Accounts and complex sales processes
  • Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g., MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plan for Public Sector with focus on Defence & MHA
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior government officials, consultants, GSIs, and partners
  • Identify new opportunities and generate leads for new and existing government clients
  • Monitor and respond to government tenders, RFPs, and RFQs; coordinate internal teams for proposals
  • Lead sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure
