💼 About This Role

You'll stand a navigational watch and assist in commissioning tests of autonomous surface vessels for a leader in maritime autonomy. Your work ensures safe navigation during operational testing and builder trials. You'll also contribute to mission execution alongside the captain.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Safely navigate the vessel to and from operation testing sites
• Stand a navigational watch while monitoring autonomous systems
• Assist in shipboard execution of mission objectives
• Contribute to overall vessel operation as directed by the Captain

📋 Requirements

• Valid USCG Mate license (500/1600T Oceans minimum)
• STCW Basic Training, GMDSS Operator, OICNW, FCC License
• Valid TWIC, USCG STCW Medical Certificate, and passport
• Ability to stand a 12-hour navigational watch and pass background/drug tests

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with jet-drive propelled vessel maneuvering
• Experience with autonomous or unmanned systems
• Prior work with DoD or government agencies
