Description

You will provide patient care including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, and safety under the direction of a Charge Nurse, while documenting care and answering call lights. You'll also take vital signs, reposition residents, and assist with procedures, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents.

Requirements

• Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in the state of work
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain within six months
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, visitors, and staff
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift heavy objects using proper techniques
• High school diploma preferred; long-term care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety services per guidelines
• Document patient care and take vital signs, weight, and measurements
• Answer call lights and respond to resident needs promptly
• Turn and reposition residents every 2 hours; reposition seated residents every hour
• Perform treatments such as Sitz bath, moist packs, and isolation techniques as instructed
