💼 About This Role

You'll provide employment counsel for HelloFresh's Factor brand, advising on hiring, wage and hour, leaves, and terminations. You'll manage litigation and develop policies to ensure compliance with federal and state laws. This role offers the chance to work with a mission-driven company disrupting the food supply chain.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Provide employment counsel on hiring, wage and hour, leaves, and terminations.
• Train leadership and cross-functional teams on HR legal compliance.
• Manage employment litigation, demand letters, and agency investigations.
• Draft and negotiate employment-related contracts like severance agreements.

📋 Requirements

• J.D. with outstanding academic credentials.
• At least 5+ years of overall labor/employment law experience.
• At least 2+ years of employment litigation experience at a leading law firm.
• Active license in good standing with the Illinois state bar.

• Prior in-house experience (ideally e-commerce and consumer-facing).
• Familiarity with Illinois state and local employment laws.
