💼 About This Role

You'll join a team supporting a large federal agency's legal mission by processing FOIA requests. You'll apply FOIA exemptions and coordinate searches for responsive documents. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in government innovation.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Receive, review, and analyze FOIA requests.
• Draft response letters and other FOIA correspondence.
• Communicate and negotiate with requesters and agencies.
• Review records for responsiveness and apply exemptions.

📋 Requirements

• Six years of experience processing FOIA requests.
• Knowledge of FOIA rules and exemptions b(4), b(5), b(6).
• Experience redacting records with trade secrets.
• Ability to obtain a government security clearance.

✨ Nice to Have

• Prior federal government experience.
• Experience with FOIA EXPRESS or SecureRelease.
• Active security clearance.
