Description
You will install, service, and repair commercial access systems such as garage doors, operators, rolling steel doors, dock levelers, and fencing. You'll also identify customer opportunities, maintain paperwork, collect payments, and participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours service.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years servicing and installing commercial garage doors
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift 60 lbs
- Valid driver's license (implied by service truck provision)
Responsibilities
- Install and repair commercial garage doors, operators, gate operators, rolling steel doors, high-speed doors, dock levelers, fencing, and related components
- Identify customer needs and offer appropriate products and services
- Track and maintain job-related paperwork and submit on time
- Collect payment for completed jobs
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency after-hours service (1-2 weekends per month)
