You'll define the long-term vision and architecture for Airbnb's Trust Platform, building scalable systems that protect the community from fraud while enabling high-quality trust decisions. You'll partner with cross-functional leaders and champion an AI-first engineering approach.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define and execute long-term vision and strategy for Trust Platform.
• Dive deep into platform components and build performance tooling.
• Champion AI-first engineering using LLM-powered agents.
• Partner with technical leaders and cross-functional teams.

📋 Requirements

• 12+ years of backend platform engineering designing distributed systems.
• BS/MS/PhD in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience guiding multi-year technical roadmaps across sub-teams.
• Deep experience building observability, SLOs, and resilience patterns.

• Experience building developer experience tooling.
• Experience in the Trust and Risk domain.
