You'll design cutting-edge reentry vehicles at a startup turning space into a transportation layer, owning mechanical design from concept through testing. You'll drive vehicle architecture and component integration for missions delivering payloads from orbit in under an hour.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Own mechanical design for primary/secondary structures, payload accommodations, and thermal protection systems.
  • Partner with propulsion and avionics teams to design and deliver mechanical systems.
  • Size, package, and integrate flight components using CAD software.
  • Analyze components with finite element analysis and develop test plans for environmental testing.

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience developing mechanical systems for aerospace or similarly complex assemblies.
  • Strong mechanical design skills for mechanisms, packaging, and high-load environments.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX) and FEA software (e.g., ANSYS Mechanical, NASTRAN).

โœจ Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with vehicle integration or design for manufacturing of flight structures.
  • Prior work on space-flight hardware qualification and test campaigns.
