Description

As a Senior Information Security Engineer at Squarepoint Capital, you will be responsible for strengthening our security posture across network, cloud, data, and system security. You will serve as an escalation point for Security Operations, lead threat modeling, audit systems for gaps, and build automation to validate controls. This role offers the opportunity to shape the security roadmap and lead initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in security engineering, architecture, operations, or application security
• Thorough understanding of security best practices and system hardening
• Hands-on experience with threat modeling, penetration testing, and automated security validation
• Solid knowledge of cloud, network, and systems security concepts
• Scripting skills in Python or PowerShell; familiarity with security tools

Responsibilities

• Strengthen security across network, system, email, cloud, and data protection
• Serve as security advisor for IT projects, ensuring security requirements are met
• Manage and optimize security tools (EDR, DLP, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, email gateways)
• Lead design of security solutions and architectures for critical assets
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments to drive proactive mitigation
