💼 About This Role

You'll implement and improve security processes for a bespoke software consultancy serving UK enterprises and government. You'll manage security events and service tickets to protect internal systems and ensure ISO 27001 compliance. This hybrid role in Leeds supports IT across three companies with occasional client project support.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Monitor and respond to security events across the organization
• Triage and handle security service tickets to agreed SLAs
• Analyze root causes of security incidents and breaches
• Maintain security configuration standards for managed operating systems
• Manage access control policies and entitlement reviews

📋 Requirements

• Commercial experience in an information security role
• Relevant technical or information security qualification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, SC-900)
• Experience with Microsoft Defender and Sentinel
• Understanding of cybersecurity standards such as ISO/IEC 27001

✨ Nice to Have

• Risk management experience including assessments and controls design
• Knowledge of ITIL principles
• Experience with ISO 20000-1 or ISO 9001
