You'll join the McCloud team maintaining high-performance Aurora Postgres databases, ensuring stability and scalability for tens of thousands of small business users. Your core impact involves query optimization, cache tuning, and disaster recovery while collaborating with developers on schema design.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Ensure stability and scalability of Aurora Postgres databases
• Perform cache optimization, query optimization, and index tuning
• Set up monitoring and alerting for database performance
• Collaborate with development teams on schema design and query refactoring

📋 Requirements

• 5-10 years administering Postgres, Oracle, or MySQL
• Understanding of Postgres internals and query analysis tools
• Experience with Disaster Recovery / High Availability architectures
• Familiarity with glue languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby

✨ Nice to Have

• 2-3 years development experience
• Experience with Rails ActiveRecord
• Experience with Terraform
