Description

You will design, train, and evaluate ML models and AI systems to improve behavioral health outcomes at Charlie Health. Partner with clinical, design, data science, and product teams to identify opportunities for data-driven solutions. Build predictive models for patient-therapist matching and clinical decision support, and write production code to serve model inferences in real time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in technical field + 4 years production software/ML experience, or Master's/PhD + 2 years
• Expertise in Python for ML (pandas, sklearn) and backend development (FastAPI)
• Strong SQL skills with analytical and transactional databases
• Experience developing agentic AI workflows is a plus
• Ability to manage ambiguity and break down complex problems

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and evaluate ML models and AI systems for business impact
• Identify opportunities for data-driven algorithms in partnership with cross-functional teams
• Pioneer approaches to measure outcomes impact via experimentation and causal inference
• Serve model inferences in real time using live data streams
• Write production code in Python to invoke ML predictions
