Description

You will define and lead the data science strategy for Coalition's insurance business, owning analytical and modeling problems across underwriting, claims, reinsurance, and portfolio management. You'll drive multi-quarter cross-functional initiatives, design experiments, and build data assets that become the source of truth for leaders, shaping performance measurement, risk selection, and capital allocation.

Requirements

• 10+ years in analytics or data science with measurable impact.
• 8+ years domain experience in Insurance, ideally P&C or cyber/E&O.
• Expert SQL and Python or R for analysis and experimentation.
• Strong grasp of statistical methods: hypothesis testing, experiment design, causal inference.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead data science strategy for insurance business.
• Lead cross-functional analytics projects across customer and broker journey.
• Design and analyze experiments and quasi-experiments in insurance settings.
• Define and maintain core insurance funnel and portfolio metrics.
• Mentor and uplevel junior and senior analysts and scientists.
