You will serve as a technical leader and architect, defining the technical vision for backend systems, mentoring senior engineers, and solving scalability and reliability challenges. Your work ensures engineering practices enable high-quality software delivery at global scale.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of leading large-scale initiatives
• Expert proficiency in Golang and deep understanding of distributed systems
• Significant experience with Postgres including advanced schema design and query optimization
• Proven ability to design resilient, high-availability services under global load
• Exceptional communication and ability to drive consensus across teams

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the long-term technical roadmap for Golang-based backend services
• Lead design and evolution of Postgres-backed distributed systems for performance and multi-region reliability
• Identify and reduce systemic redundancies across teams
• Set standards for observability and operational health
• Mentor Senior and Mid-level engineers through guidance and code reviews
