You'll design and scale core systems for Nectar's AI-native social operating system, ingesting large volumes of social data and running real-time AI agents. You'll shape architectural decisions and mentor engineers as the team grows from $30M+ funding.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design backend systems for processing large volumes of social data
• Develop resilient third-party API integrations for AI workloads
• Improve reliability, performance, and cost efficiency of data pipelines
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering culture

📋 Requirements

• Strong experience designing and operating production systems
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and scalable architecture
• Experience integrating external APIs and building reliable data pipelines

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with high-scale data pipelines or real-time systems
• Familiarity with AWS, Pulumi, Postgres, ClickHouse
• Experience integrating AI/ML systems into production
