💼 About This Role

You'll lead a distributed team of 6 engineers owning the backend pipeline that processes tracing data at scale. You'll shape the technical vision for a platform at the critical intersection of Datadog's product ecosystem, enabling multiple products to leverage trace data. This role offers the opportunity to solve complex engineering challenges with transversal impact.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage a team of 6 engineers for the APM Data Hub pipeline.
• Provide technical leadership to remove roadblocks and maintain velocity.
• Collaborate with Product and Platform teams on enhancements.
• Lead multi-quarter initiatives from ambiguous goals to execution.

📋 Requirements

• 1+ years leading a team of 4+ engineers.
• Collaboration across multiple teams and functions.
• Technical judgment in back-end distributed systems.
• Mentoring and growing engineers.
