Description
As a Senior Market Manager, you will ensure the health and expansion of hotel supply in your assigned territory, managing individual hotel and chain accounts to build market presence. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive strategic initiatives, and act as a mentor while operating autonomously to secure inventory and optimize partner performance.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in new sales, account management, and partner support
- 2+ years of tech/travel industry experience is a plus
- Ability to get things done with constantly changing priorities, projects, and deadlines
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to establish strong relationships with and influence senior-level hotel executives
- Ability to operate as player/coach and be a resource to Market Managers
- Familiarity with leading complex and/or cross-functional projects from concept to inception
- Capacity to balance day-to-day responsibilities with longer-term strategic execution
- Quick learner and proactive
- Flexibility to travel 25% of the time
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed OKRs by owning the performance and success of the hotels within your portfolio
- Operate autonomously to secure more inventory and implement strategic tactics to ensure partner success
- Drive end-to-end assessment, analysis, and execution of strategy to drive maximum market performance
- Present to, respond to, and deliver exceptional service to hotel partners in a timely and efficient manner
- Leverage market knowledge to be the go-to source for local trends and market dynamics
- Act as a mentor to colleagues by developing account management strategies and providing peer guidance
- Confidently sell to and build strong relationships with senior-level hotel executives
- Continue learning and bettering your understanding of the hospitality industry and revenue management
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive regional supply strategy and cross-functional initiatives
