💼 About This Role

You'll lead major capital projects ($50-500M CAPEX) from conceptual design through construction and commissioning for a company developing sustainable aviation fuel. You'll drive stage-gate development, manage cost/schedule/risk, and ensure successful project delivery. This role offers the chance to shape project execution at a well-funded climate tech startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead projects through FEL-1 to FEL-3 stage-gate process.
• Develop and manage FID-ready projects with cost/schedule/risk compliance.
• Oversee site selection, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage engineering, procurement, and contract negotiations.

📋 Requirements

• Experience leading at least one major capital project delivered under aggressive timelines.
• Expertise in project controls, cost estimating (Class V to Class I), and schedule management.
• Background in site selection, permitting, and environmental compliance.
• Proven contract negotiation and financial oversight of large-scale projects.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in energy, chemicals, or renewables sectors.
• Knowledge of construction management and commissioning.
• Familiarity with EPC/EPCM contracts.
