💼 About This Role

You'll work as a Registered Behavior Technician supporting students with autism and developmental disabilities in school-based settings on the Big Island. You'll implement behavior therapy techniques and collaborate with school teams to foster independence and success. BAYADA provides a paid 40+ hour RBT training program to help you become certified.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Work directly with students in the classroom following established service plans
• Implement behavior therapy techniques and collaborate with teachers
• Document interventions and progress towards goals
• Collect behavior data as specified in client behavior plan

📋 Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree OR 48 college credits including Math 100 and English 100
• High School diploma/GED with passage of ParaPro Praxis assessment
• Complete RBT Academy and pass the RBT Exam

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience as a paraprofessional or skills trainer
• Interest in working with individuals with Autism or IDDs
