Description

You will update and maintain the electric power system model used by the Energy Management System, Business Management System, and other critical applications. You'll support real-time power system analysis, maintain SCADA/EMS advanced applications, and help integrate emerging resource technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with coursework in power systems
• 3-5 years experience in power system engineering or related discipline
• Working knowledge of state estimator programs desired
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and regulations
• Proficiency in mathematical concepts including probability and trigonometry

Responsibilities

• Maintain transmission network and generation resource models for energy and TCC markets
• Support SCADA/EMS advanced applications including State Estimator and Security Analysis
• Develop and implement ICCP data requirements for state estimation coordination
• Maintain control center visualization displays and station one-line diagrams
• Support modeling and software changes for new resource types and aggregations
