💼 About This Role

You'll join the Release squad within Spotify's Client Platform Studio, building tools that enable engineers to release software safely at scale. You'll work on internal platforms impacting thousands of engineers, directly shaping how software delivery happens. This role offers a chance to grow skills while collaborating with Platform, Infrastructure, and SRE teams.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and maintain backend services for release coordination workflows
• Manage release trains, rollout orchestration, and deployment state across services
• Collaborate with Platform, Infrastructure, and SRE teams for safe releases
• Participate in on-call rotations to support release tooling in production

📋 Requirements

• 2+ years building backend systems in production
• Experience with Java and backend service architectures
• Understanding of distributed systems fundamentals
• Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery practices
