💼 About This Role

You'll join CGS to administer Microsoft SQL Server and support database migrations. You'll ensure database performance and system reliability for government clients. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge government technology projects.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Administer Microsoft SQL Server including replication and backup/restore
• Migrate databases from SQL Server 2012 to 2016
• Monitor and tune SQL performance
• Perform daily and weekly backups of servers

📋 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years relevant SQL Server DBA experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server administration
• Experience with VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V
• Knowledge of source control, bug tracking, and SDLC

• Experience with data warehouse implementation
• Experience with AWS RDS for PostgreSQL
• Experience with cloud environments like Azure or AWS
