💼 About This Role

You'll drive the configuration of next-generation unmanned aerial systems for advanced defense programs. You'll handle high-performance airframe development from mission requirements through flight-ready prototypes. This role demands technical rigor and design leadership in a fast-paced environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and develop UAS vehicle configuration at conceptual and preliminary levels.
• Create CAD models and engineering drawings for overall vehicle including OML.
• Coordinate cross-disciplinary trade studies for weight, performance, and manufacturability.
• Interface with engineering, flight test, manufacturing, and supply-chain teams.

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years experience in overall design of aerospace systems, especially UAS.
• Experience performing trade studies and presenting design decisions.
• Proficiency in CAD (NX, CATIA, or equivalent) with strong surfacing skills.
• Familiarity with DFM, environmental loads, and structural design.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with high-speed and/or high altitude design requirements.
• Experience with development of LO platforms.
• Class A surfacing experience.
• Track record of building and flight-testing UAS platforms.
